Subway and cinnabon are teaming up for New Desserts

Subway is famous for its warm cookies, which are made fresh in every location, but some lucky customers can now try two Cinnabon-inspired desserts.

A new foot-long churro and a Frosted Swirl—a frosted cinnamon bun in a paper wrapper—have been discovered in certain Subway restaurants nationwide.

Blogger @markie_devo posted about the new Subway test desserts on Instagram earlier this week, sparking rumors.

Now, Subway has verified to Today.com that it is testing the new desserts in select U.S. restaurants.

"As part of Subway's transformation journey, the brand is always testing new ingredients and menu items to deliver better food and a better guest experience."

These and other products have been in development for over a year and are currently being tested in select U.S. locations.

Subway has not yet responded to our requests for additional information about the new desserts and their availability.

However, other Subway fans have provided valuable hints regarding the locations of the new churro and Frosted Swirl.

In recent months, the introduction of Cinnabon-inspired desserts at select Subway locations is not the only significant development for the chain.

In July, Subway announced that it had installed deli slicers in its American restaurants and was transitioning to freshly sliced meats.
