A Popular Coca-Cola Product Is Back At Costco

Mexican Coke has a distinct taste that surpasses American Coke, and it's not simply the nostalgic glass bottle. The US-dominant soft drink uses

high-fructose corn syrup. Mexican Coke shipped to the US is manufactured with real cane sugar, and consumers say they can taste

Costco occasionally sells this beverage, and members recently reported finding it in warehouses.

Even buyers' passion for Mexican Coke couldn't protect it from price complaints.

A Costco shopper tweeted a photo of Mexican Coke cases at their warehouse on the retailer's Reddit page this week.

Some buyers remembered finding cases of the soft drink for substantially less at Costco. Prices may vary. One said they remembered

seeing Mexican Coke for $23.99 "not that long ago," while another said they could acquire a case for $18 before the COVID-19 outbreak.

Reddit Costco consumers have long complained about the warehouse's excessive soft drink prices. The pandemic and supply chain concerns

have driven up supermarket prices in recent years, so the higher prices are not surprising. Egg and pork prices have only dropped in recent months.

Even though hefty grocery bills are the norm, Costco consumers couldn't shake the Mexican Coke price tag's foul taste.
