Skincare Tips for Your Workout Routine

Cleansing

Use a mild cleanser to get rid of the grime, oil, and makeup that have accumulated on your face. Keeping your pores open while exercise is essential.

Moisturize

Hydrate without greasiness with a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer. This protects your skin from drying out during exercise.

Sunscreen

Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30 if you plan on working out outside.

Avoid Heavy Makeup

Avoid wearing heavy makeup to the gym, as it might clog your pores and make you break out. Try going makeup-free or with a really natural look.

Hyderation

Drink water during exercise to moisturize your skin and body. Skin needs hydration.

Using a towel

If you're sweating significantly, gently dab with a clean cloth. Wipe gently to avoid skin irritation.

Toner

If you use a toner as part of your skincare routine, you should apply it after cleansing your face in order to restore pH balance to your skin.

Shower

Sweat and bacteria that might cause breakouts should be washed off in a shower as soon as possible after an exercise.
